The purpose and focus of this site is reporting on, analysis of, and editorializing about, the civil lawsuits against Nikki Araguz of Wharton, Texas. In it the plaintiffs, Heather Delgado and Simona Rodriguez Longoria, are attempting to block Nikki Araguz from inheriting the estate of her late husband, Thomas Araguz, by trying to have a court annul her marriage to him by having it declare her legally male despite her present female physical status, because they claim she is a transsexual female and because a Texas appeals court in Littleton v Prange, 9 SW3d 223 (1999), ruled that transsexual females are considered legally male under Texas law, and therefore cannot marry a man. The attorneys representing Nikki Araguz hope to have that ruling overturned.
